my story

Years ago my mother-in-law was heading to Korea to visit family. She laughed when I asked if I could send her with an empty suitcase to bring skincare back for me to try. Can you blame me? I fell in love with the K-Beauty approach that incorporates thoughtful rituals and traditional ingredients. I began to value the holistic method that combines lifestyle and comprehensive treatments, addressing not just the skin’s surface but nurturing overall well-being. 

Later in life I started to struggle with adult hormonal acne and like most, I searched high and low for answers. What I found was a passion for corrective skincare. I'm sure many can relate to the frustration of adult acne and fine lines starting to be more visible every time you catch a glimpse in the mirror. I opened the doors of Hermana Studio with the intention of helping others feel empowered and confident in their skin journey.
